Journal
Everyone with internet deserves a place to write.
A clean, simple editor with no ads, no account and no one reading over your shoulder. Your notes stay in your own browser — open it and start typing.
Open Journalno account neededWe're building as many free tools as we can while AI makes it affordable — to bring people together.
Draw, write, edit video or play with friends. Ten of the 13 open in one click, no account needed.
Only Search, Data Analytics, Checklist, sync, running a Battle tournament and earning XP in Daily Learner need a free account. The paid plan is €6 a month; the first 100 subscribers keep that price for life.
Your attention isn't the product. Supporters pay for Happy Light, not advertisers, so there are no ads, no trackers and no analytics on this site or in the apps.
10 of the 13 tools open the moment you click them. You only need an account for Search and for sync.
Your work stays in your own browser. Nothing leaves it unless you choose to connect storage, sync or an AI model yourself.
A paid plan comes with a download of the apps and their source code. Your copy keeps working after you cancel.
How that worksSigning in with Google? We keep only your name, email address and Google account ID, and anything you save to Google Drive goes straight from your browser to your own Drive. How we handle Google data
A place to write and a way to play with friends shouldn't cost you money, your attention or your data. These two are free, ad-free, and open in one click.

Arcade
Put a game on the big screen and everyone joins with their phone. Twelve party games, nothing to install, no account to play — just a room code and a lot of noise.

Markdown notes that render as you type.
Write Markdown and watch it render beside you. Sort notes into folders, tag them, link one note to another with [[double brackets]], and find anything with a double-tap of Shift. Drop in images, video or audio, or record a voice note and have it transcribed by a model that runs on your own device.

Several AI models in one chat room.
Add models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, a local Ollama or LM Studio, or your own agent behind a webhook — then put them in one room. Type @ to pick who answers, let them take turns or debate, and switch on web search when an answer needs looking up. Your API keys stay in your browser and messages go straight to the provider you chose.

Wave at your webcam, fire a webhook.
Show a hand sign to your camera or say a word, and Triggers calls the webhook you picked. The camera and microphone are read by your browser and never uploaded — the only requests the page makes are the webhooks you configure.

Cut clips together and give them a title.
Drop in clips, trim and split them, put them in order and join them with a crossfade, wipe or slide. Lay background music underneath that fades in, fades out and ducks when a clip talks. Title scenes are written in HTML, CSS and JavaScript: pick a preset, change the words and colours, then render it into your video or download it as a page for your website. Everything is decoded and encoded by your own browser — nothing is uploaded.

Type a function, see the graph.
A full-screen graph that plots what you type: y = sin(x), x^2 - 3, |x|, sqrt(x), e^x, x = 2, even xor(x, 5). Add tables of points by hand or fill one from a function over a range you choose. Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, and tap a curve to read its coordinates. Everything runs in your browser and is kept on this device.
Keep it friendly, but show no Mercy!
A tournament organiser for the Arcade or any other game or sport: single and double elimination, round robin, Swiss, groups then knockout, and free-for-all heats. Share one link so everyone can follow the bracket live, and another so players can report their own results. Running a tournament takes a free account; playing and watching do not.
Learn a little every day.
Small daily lessons with streaks and a leaderboard. Learn Zig one tiny function at a time, with your code run and checked on the spot. Or put your headphones in for a hands-free Spanish or English session: hear a phrase, say it out loud in the pause, then hear the answer. Reading and listening are open to anyone; earning XP and keeping a streak take a free account.
A search engine with no ads and no profile.
A self-hosted metasearch front end: it asks several engines and hands you the results, with no ad auction and nothing building a profile of you. Signed-in only, because an open search endpoint is free scraping infrastructure for whoever finds it.
Your data, on one live dashboard.
Build dashboards of line, bar, area, scatter and pie charts, KPI numbers, sortable tables and data maps. Paste or upload CSV and JSON, type a table, or point at a URL and let it refresh on its own. Drag widgets around, resize them, and share a dashboard read-only with a link.
Tick it off together — even in the shop.
To-do lists, shopping lists and deadline plans that stay in sync between your computer and your phone, and keep working offline in the shop. Share a list with your household and tick things off together. The planner finds a time that suits everyone: pick a date range, share the link, and people mark when they can, no account needed to answer.
Every tool here started as somebody wishing it existed. Tell us what you'd use, what's missing or what bugs you — the forum is where we read it.
Planned One day this becomes a little isometric world. You wander it as a pixel ghost with a few silly animations, every thread is a room, and comments are notes you pin to its walls.
Every tool is free to use. We charge for what costs us money (hosting, updates and support), we're open about where it goes, and subscribers get something real back.
Every tool on this page is free to use, today. Paid plans are a way to support the work, not a gate in front of it.
Clear prices, cancel anytime, and an honest page about why we charge at all.
Your subscription isn't a rental. A paid plan comes with a download of the apps and their source code. Use them offline, change them to suit you, and keep your copy forever — even if you cancel. You just stop getting updates.
Source-available, not open source: the code is yours to run, read and improve for yourself, but not to redistribute or resell. Search runs on our server, so it isn't part of the download.
